Rescue 4140 is first due to all medical calls we respond to.
It responds with a minimum crew is two, with at least one New York State Certified Emergency Medical Technician (EMT).
It carries All the equipment an EMT needs treat an illness or injury.

Engine 4121 is first due for car fires and outdoor fires.
It is also responds to structure fires, car accidents, mutual aid fire calls,
and any other scenes requested by the Officer-in-Charge.
Engine 4121 has a minimum crew of 4, and can seat up to 6 Firefighters.

It also responds to any other scenes requested by the Officer-in-Charge.

Rescue 4144 is first due for all Car Accidents, Search and Rescue Calls, and Structural Collapse Calls.
It responds in the District with Water Rescue 4145.
It also responds to Gas and Carbon Monoxide Calls, Mutual Aid calls,
as well as any other scenes requested by the Officer-in-Charge.
Rescue 4144 can carry up to 8 Firefighters

Water Rescue 4145 is an Airboat, which responds to water emergencies.
During the Summer months our primary response area is between the Rexford Bridge and the Colonie Town Line.
Given the unique capabilities of the Airboat, it responds anywhere in the county during the winter.
It also responds as requested to Mutual Aid calls.
Water Rescue 4145 operates with a crew of 3 people trained for it’s operation, as well as the operator of the tow vehicle.
